My 2009 Year in Review in Glorious Link Format can be found HERE!

{about}

It happened in April 2008. I'd been clicking "next blog" at the top of the Blogger page, doing a "Stumble Upon" without really knowing it, wondering what kind of blog was just a click away.

I found a few that I liked and eventually wanted to leave a comment on one. Instead of just creating a Blogger ID, which is all I needed to do, I created a whole blog. Just so I could leave a comment on someone else's blog.
Had I known that it wasn't necessary to make a whole blog to comment, you wouldn't be here today reading this "about."

My brilliance does not precede me.

Ever since then I wrestle and wrangle about what to write. I also spend a fair bit of time on a regular basis justifying the audacity that I must have to think that someone wants to read whatever nonsense I have the nerve to not only write but publish in a post. I mean really!

If you poke around here long enough, it'll become evident that this blog is fairly themeless. I've never been able to stick to one or two subjects. It's ended up being almost 2 years of writing about what I'm interested in or thinking about at the time. Basically whatever's knocking about in my brain housing group. {Note: I know there's a difference between theme and subject. Just can't put my finger on it at the moment.}

There's no rhyme or reason. There are just lots of posts about a bunch of random topics:

1. My children. I try to be really careful about what I post about my kids because they're old enough to read and get mad.

2. My housepets. Because they can't read and are not physically capable of getting mad at me.

3. My husband. I try to be careful when writing about him too, but he knows that there may be occasion for me to tease him. On the interwebs.

4. My "art." Because I'm a compliment whore. If you want to say something bad about something I made, feel free, but talk behind my back.

5. Memes. I like doing memes but I don't do them very often because I'm always paranoid that I'll come off all look-at-my-cool-hip-[not!]-answers.

6. Chris Isaak. I would publish more posts about him and his music if it wouldn't make me look unbalanced.

7. Things that amuse me.

And then there's always stuff knocking around in my head that winds up here that's uncategorizable {I don't care if that's not really a word}. Those kinds of posts usually get tagged "wackness." {Most likely I need to go back and tag many, many previous posts with that word.}

I've done just a few "PR"-type post so far, for example: Little MissMatched and Trident. It was tons-o-fun for me and they liked it too. I'd be thrilled to bits to do more product reviews and/or giveaway promotions. So if you have a G to PG-13 type product, Etsy shop, etc., feel free to contact me [autumnsensation@yahoo.com] about getting the word out there on my blog. I'd love to collaborate.

Thanks for being here. My heart overflows with warm fuzzies.

p.s. I also love making and trading Artist Trading Cards. You can learn more about them here. See the ones I have for trade here.
